Our Services
At First Breath Midwifery Care, we offer full birthing services in your own home or in our on-site birth suite. We will attend a water birth in the mother's home or in our suite's birthing tub. Our suite is a welcoming, accommodating setting in beautiful Billings, Montana for mothers who are concerned about privacy or who live in a state that does not support midwives.

Your relationship with your certified midwife will include prenatal visits, labor and delivery attendance, postpartum visits and lactation consulting. If you choose, we can also provide you with childbirth classes and doula services. We will be an integral part of your pregnancy, supporting you physically and emotionally from the first time you'll hear the baby's heartbeat through the first months at home with your new little one.
Our Vision
The midwives of First Breath Midwifery Care believe passionately in safe, professionally-attended natural birth. We provide the knowledge and expertise to help families feel confident and secure in their abilities to undertake the road through natural birth to early parenting.
We also believe in securing women's right to safe, natural childbirth for generations to come. To this end, we provide education and training for doulas (birth support professionals) in Montana and Wyoming so that access to doula services is secure for future mothers.
We provide financial support to Compassion International's Child Survival Program. We've committed to donate $100 for every baby born in our birthing suite and $63 for every home birth we attend. With your help, we can double the number of families worldwide who have access to healthy births!
The first breath is the pivotal point -- the ending of pregnancy and the beginning of parenthood. At First Breath Midwifery Care, we'll support you before and after that magical moment so that you can focus on the experience.
Other Services
First Breath believes in the innate wisdom of pregnancy and birth. By offering men and women holistic care and nurturing support they are empowered to build a unique foundation in their parenting in the most natural environment.
